Honey Badger Infects America

Long live the honey badger. No flash in the proverbial pan is he, no sir, honey badger has staying power. He’s not going anywhere, and thanks goodness, because he provides some funny sh**.

Heck in the last few days, he’s been seen splashed across Olivia Wilde‘s chest, and he even made President Obama‘s first-ever Twitter Townhall from the White House. Someone submitted the question: “Does honey badger care?” Obama has yet to respond to that particular question, but perhaps he needs time to ponder.

If you have no clue what I’m talking about then you’ve been missing out and must watch the following video titled “Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger.” If you’ve already seen it you know you want to watch it again.

The Mother of Toddlers & Tiaras’ Eden Wood: “We’re Not Weirdos, We’re Not Freaks”

“Can you put her on the cover?” Mickie Wood asks me as we finish our conversation about her 6-year-old daughter, Eden Wood, who makes her fifth overall appearance (and third as “a feature”) on Wednesday’s Season 4 premiere of Toddlers & Tiaras (TLC, 10/9c). When Wood realizes this interview is for a website not a magazine, she’s much less pushy than you might expect for someone who fits the profile of “stage mom.” She has “somewhat of a smattering” of a pageant history herself and started orchestrating Eden’s pageant career when her daughter was just over a year old.

Wood is just as much of a character on the phone as her daughter has to be onstage. She starts the conversation singing Tony Basil’s “Mickey” (in reference to her own name), describes her daughter as kicking some “bootay” onstage, exhibits the savvy of a reality-TV vet and expresses befuddlement over Leah Remini describing her daughter as “luscious” after she performed her must-be-heard-to-be-believed song “Cutie Patootie” on The Talk last year.

Natalie Portman, Benjamin Millepied Say “I Do” to Gay Marriage

In reality, there’s still a way to go before the law catches up to common sense, and Natalie Portman is the latest star to throw her weight behind helping make that happen.

The Oscar winner and mama-to-be (any week now, people!) have joined up with the now 100,000 people and counting on Freedom to Marry’s “I Do” open letter calling on President Obama to declare his support of marriage equality.

“Natalie Portman and her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, are in love and believe all loving couples should be able to share in the freedom to marry without discrimination,” Evan Wolfson, the organization’s president, said.

“That is why they are joining the more than 100,000 people on Freedom to Marry’s Say ‘I Do’ open letter calling on the president to do the right thing and become part of America’s majority for marriage.”

The campaign was launched in March, and celebrities and equality-loving citizens alike quickly joined forces to make their voices heard.

Michele Bachmann’s evolution: From Carter volunteer to conservative unsettling 2012 GOP race

One hand clutches a crisply folded U.S. flag with a concealed weapons certification protruding; the other slides discreetly into a denim coat pocket. Behind the beaming state lawmaker, a silhouette target with bullet holes square in the chest. Next to her nameplate, a “No New Taxes!” sticker.

The photo taken during Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann’s initial run for Congress in 2006 captures her essence.
